Travelers from Central Pennsylvania will soon have even more options to reach destinations across the country and around the world. Delta Air Lines is increasing service at Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) this summer, expanding flight schedules to two of its major hub airports.

Beginning May 22, Delta will increase service between Harrisburg and Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) from two to three daily flights, representing roughly a 10 percent increase compared with last year. A few weeks later, on June 7, service between Harrisburg and Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will grow from three to four daily flights, an increase of approximately 15 percent year over year.

Together, the additions represent about a 13 percent increase in Delta service at MDT for the summer travel season, giving passengers more flexibility when planning business trips, family visits, and vacations.
