American Airlines will offer seasonal, Saturday only nonstop flights to Miami International Airport (MIA) from Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), between January 10^th and April 4^th, 2026.  

“American’s new nonstop Miami service provides central PA leisure and business travelers the opportunity to fly to South Florida, and beyond, from closer to home, saving hours of time and hassle driving to and from far away airports,” said Timithy J. Edwards, Executive Director, Harrisburg International Airport.  

Miami will American’s sixth nonstop destination from MDT between January and early April, joining existing service to Boston (BOS), Charlotte (CLT), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), and Philadelphia (PHL).  American’s weekly flight will be timed for connections on American’s network to Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America. American serves more than 80 destinations nonstop beyond Miami.  The route will be flown on an American Embraer E175 aircraft which has room for 76 passengers including 12 First Class and 64 Main Cabin seats
